Welcome to SwissLux Timepieces LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.swissluxtimepieces.com (the “Site”) and your purchase, sale, trade, consignment, sourcing request, or other transaction with SwissLux Timepieces LLC (“SwissLux Timepieces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
SwissLux Timepieces LLC is based in Des Moines, Iowa and operates as an independent reseller of pre-owned luxury watches. We conduct business through direct communication with clients by phone, text, WhatsApp, email, website inquiry forms, and approved third-party platforms.
By accessing the Site, submitting an inquiry, purchasing a watch, selling a watch to us, trading a watch, consigning a watch, requesting sourcing assistance, signing up for inventory alerts, or otherwise doing business with us, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
“Watch” or “Timepiece” means any luxury watch offered for sale, trade, consignment, sourcing, or purchase through SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
“Full Set” means a watch accompanied by its original box, papers, warranty card, manuals, tags, booklets, accessories, or other items originally included by the manufacturer, to the extent specifically listed in the product description.
“Watch Only” means a watch sold without original box, papers, warranty card, manuals, or manufacturer accessories unless otherwise stated.
“Condition Grade” means our good-faith assessment of a watch’s physical and mechanical condition based on inspection, photographs, timegrapher results, documentation, service history, and professional judgment.
“Authentication” means our review of a watch’s genuineness, components, condition, serial numbers, reference numbers, movement, dial, case, bracelet, clasp, documentation, and other relevant features.
“Consignment” means a watch owned by a third party that SwissLux Timepieces LLC agrees to represent for sale.
“Sourcing” or “Procurement” means our service of locating a specific watch or model for a customer through our dealer, collector, marketplace, and private-seller network.
“Trade-In” means the exchange of a customer’s existing watch as partial or full value toward another watch or transaction.
“Client,” “Customer,” “Buyer,” “Seller,” or “You” means any person or entity that uses the Site, contacts us, purchases from us, sells to us, trades with us, consigns through us, requests sourcing, or otherwise does business with SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
2. Independent Dealer Status
SwissLux Timepieces LLC is an independent reseller of pre-owned luxury watches.
We are not an authorized dealer, authorized retailer, official representative, agent, sponsor, partner, or affiliate of any watch manufacturer or brand featured on our Site, including but not limited to Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Cartier, Tudor, Vacheron Constantin, Richard Mille, Breitling, IWC, Panerai, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Grand Seiko, H. Moser & Cie, Roger Dubuis, Czapek, or any other brand we may buy, sell, trade, source, or discuss.
All manufacturer names, model names, logos, trademarks, and brand references appearing on our Site, product listings, invoices, communications, or other materials belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification, description, and compatibility purposes.
Manufacturer warranties may not apply to watches purchased from SwissLux Timepieces LLC. Any warranty, guarantee, or protection offered by SwissLux Timepieces LLC is separate from any manufacturer warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
3. Inquiry-Based Sales Process
SwissLux Timepieces LLC uses an inquiry-based sales process.
Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not complete a purchase, reserve a watch, guarantee availability, or create a binding transaction. A transaction is not confirmed until SwissLux Timepieces LLC confirms availability, confirms the transaction details, receives cleared payment, completes any required verification, and issues written confirmation.
Because luxury watches can sell quickly, all watches are subject to prior sale, trade, consignment withdrawal, sourcing availability, price changes, or inventory updates.
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, modify, or refuse any transaction before completion.
4. Products, Listings, and Descriptions
4.1 Accuracy of Listings
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and photograph each watch we offer. Product listings may include details such as brand, model, reference number, case size, year, condition, box/papers status, movement type, bracelet or strap details, service history, included accessories, and available documentation.
Unless otherwise stated, photographs are intended to represent the actual watch being offered. If any image is representative, supplemental, or provided for reference only, we will attempt to state that clearly.
Slight variations in color, texture, dial tone, case finish, bracelet appearance, or perceived condition may occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings, reflections, editing, or normal limitations of digital images. These minor differences do not constitute misrepresentation.
4.2 Condition Descriptions
Condition descriptions are subjective and based on our inspection and professional judgment. They may differ from another dealer’s, watchmaker’s, manufacturer’s, or collector’s opinion.
Common condition descriptions may include:
Unworn/New: Appears unworn or never used, often with factory stickers or protections intact where applicable
Mint/Excellent: Minimal signs of handling or wear
Very Good: Light wear consistent with careful ownership
Good: Moderate wear consistent with regular use
Fair: Visible wear, scratches, aging, polishing, patina, bracelet stretch, or other cosmetic imperfections
Condition descriptions may include notes about scratches, dents, polishing, bracelet stretch, dial aging, lume aging, crystal condition, bezel condition, missing accessories, aftermarket components, service needs, or other visible or known issues.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, videos, condition notes, and written descriptions before purchasing. We encourage customers to contact us with questions before completing a transaction.
4.3 Timegraphed and Inspected Watches
Every watch that comes through SwissLux Timepieces LLC is carefully authenticated and inspected. Each timepiece is timed and tested on a timegrapher to confirm function at the time of inspection.
A timegrapher reading, inspection result, or statement that a watch is functioning at the time of inspection does not guarantee future performance, future accuracy, future water resistance, or freedom from later mechanical issues.
4.4 Full Sets and Documentation
SwissLux Timepieces LLC prioritizes full sets and documents completeness when possible. When a watch is missing box, papers, warranty card, links, tags, booklets, accessories, or other expected items, we attempt to disclose that clearly.
Customers are responsible for reviewing exactly what is included with each watch before purchase.
4.5 Service History
When available, we may provide information about a watch’s service history. Complete service records are not always available, especially for pre-owned, vintage, traded, consigned, or sourced watches.
The absence of service documentation does not necessarily mean a watch has not been serviced or maintained. The presence of service records does not guarantee future performance.
4.6 Errors and Omissions
Occasionally, product listings, pricing, descriptions, specifications, photographs, availability, or other information may contain errors. We reserve the right to correct errors, update listings, modify pricing, cancel orders, or decline transactions based on incorrect information, including pricing mistakes, typographical errors, inventory errors, or inaccurate product details.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include applicable taxes, shipping costs, insurance costs, customs duties, import fees, payment processing fees, marketplace fees, escrow fees, or other charges unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time before a transaction is confirmed. Once a transaction is confirmed in writing and payment has cleared, the agreed purchase price is locked unless the transaction is canceled, modified, or otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2 Accepted Payment Methods
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may accept the following payment methods:
Bank wire
Zelle
Credit card, subject to verification and a 4% processing fee
Approved escrow services, including Chrono24 or other approved platforms
Klarna or Affirm when available through eBay, Chrono24, or another approved third-party marketplace
Cryptocurrency only on a case-by-case basis for trusted and vetted buyers
We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every transaction. We reserve the right to require a specific payment method, decline a payment method, request additional verification, or cancel a transaction if we determine that a payment method creates elevated fraud, chargeback, identity, or transaction risk.
5.3 Credit Card Processing Fee
Credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee where permitted by applicable law, payment processor rules, and card-network rules. Any applicable fee will be disclosed before payment is completed.
Credit card payments may also require identity verification, billing address verification, cardholder confirmation, fraud screening, or shipping restrictions.
We reserve the right to decline credit card payments for high-value transactions, first-time customers, mismatched billing/shipping information, international transactions, or any transaction we consider high risk.
5.4 Payment Verification
Full payment must be received and cleared before shipment, delivery, or transfer of ownership.
Orders are not considered final until:
Payment has been received;
Payment has cleared and been verified;
Any required identity, billing, shipping, or fraud-prevention review has been completed; and
SwissLux Timepieces LLC confirms the order in writing.
Wire transfers must be confirmed by our bank before shipment. Zelle, credit card, escrow, marketplace, cryptocurrency, or other payments may require additional verification before shipment.
5.5 Cryptocurrency Payments
Cryptocurrency may be accepted only on a case-by-case basis for trusted and vetted buyers.
Any cryptocurrency transaction must be approved in writing before payment. The accepted currency, exchange rate, confirmation requirements, refund method, and other transaction terms must be agreed to in writing before payment is sent.
Cryptocurrency transactions may be final sale and may not be reversible. If a refund is approved, the refund may be issued in USD or another method approved by SwissLux Timepieces LLC, not necessarily in the same cryptocurrency or at the same exchange rate.
5.6 Third-Party Marketplace Payments
Transactions completed through eBay, Chrono24, escrow, Klarna, Affirm, or another third-party platform may be subject to that platform’s own payment rules, return rules, dispute procedures, buyer protections, seller protections, authentication rules, tax collection rules, fees, holds, and timelines.
If a transaction is completed through a third-party platform, that platform’s mandatory rules may control that transaction to the extent required by the platform.
5.7 Taxes and Duties
Buyers are responsible for all applicable sales tax, use tax, VAT, import duties, customs fees, brokerage fees, and other taxes or charges imposed by any jurisdiction.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC will collect sales tax where required by law or by an applicable third-party marketplace.
International buyers are responsible for customs declarations, duties, taxes, import compliance, and any restrictions applicable in their jurisdiction.
We do not falsify customs declarations, undervalue shipments, or mark purchases as gifts.
6. Shipping and Delivery
6.1 Shipping Methods
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, watches are shipped by FedEx Overnight with full insurance and tracking.
For high-value shipments, SwissLux Timepieces LLC prefers shipping to a FedEx Hold location for secure pickup and ID verification. Residence or business delivery may be available when approved by SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
We may use another reputable insured carrier, armored carrier, or logistics provider when appropriate.
6.2 Shipping Timeline
Orders typically ship the same day or next business day after payment has cleared, verification is complete, and shipment has been approved.
Shipping timelines may vary based on payment method, verification requirements, insurance approval, carrier availability, holidays, weather, customs processing, buyer responsiveness, or other circumstances outside our control.
6.3 Insurance and Risk of Loss
SwissLux Timepieces LLC makes reasonable efforts to fully insure watch shipments for the purchase price or declared value.
Buyers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, safe, and approved shipping address. Buyers are also responsible for being available to receive the package or retrieve it from an approved hold location.
Risk of loss generally transfers to the buyer once the package has been delivered, signed for, released by the carrier at the approved destination, or picked up from an approved hold location, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
If a package is lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, misdelivered, or otherwise affected during transit, SwissLux Timepieces LLC will work with the carrier and insurer to investigate and file a claim. Refunds, replacements, or other remedies may be delayed until the carrier, insurer, or logistics provider completes its review.
6.4 Delivery Requirements
An adult signature may be required for delivery. Packages may not be rerouted, redirected, held, or delivered to an alternate address without approval from SwissLux Timepieces LLC and the carrier.
We reserve the right to ship only to a verified billing address, verified business address, approved FedEx Hold location, or other approved secure location.
We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, loss, theft, or claim denial resulting from incorrect, incomplete, unsafe, unauthorized, or unverifiable shipping information provided by the buyer.
6.5 International Shipping
International shipping is available case-by-case.
International buyers are responsible for ensuring that watches, straps, materials, precious metals, exotic materials, or other components may legally be imported into their country.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC is not responsible for customs delays, seizure, import restrictions, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, carrier delays, or other charges imposed by foreign governments, customs authorities, carriers, or third-party logistics providers.
7. Final Sale, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
7.1 Final Sale Policy
Unless otherwise stated in writing or required by an applicable third-party marketplace, all sales are final.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges after purchase except in cases of verified inauthenticity, material misrepresentation, marketplace-required resolution, or another written exception approved by SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
7.2 No Buyer’s Remorse Returns
Because luxury watches are high-value, condition-sensitive goods, SwissLux Timepieces LLC does not accept returns based on buyer’s remorse, change of mind, market price changes, fit, preference, subjective condition opinion, or a customer later deciding they prefer another watch.
7.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return unless otherwise required by law or approved in writing:
Watches that have been worn, sized, altered, polished, opened, serviced, damaged, or modified after delivery
Watches returned without written authorization
Watches missing boxes, papers, accessories, links, tags, warranty cards, straps, booklets, or included items
Special orders
Sourced or procured watches purchased after customer approval
Watches purchased after customer inspection in person or by live video
Consignment watches
Watches affected by misuse, neglect, water exposure, impact, magnetization, improper handling, or unauthorized repair
Final-sale items
Marketplace transactions except as required by the applicable platform’s rules
7.4 Authenticity or Material Misrepresentation Claims
If a buyer believes a watch is not authentic or was materially misrepresented, the buyer must contact SwissLux Timepieces LLC in writing and provide supporting documentation.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the watch, review the claim, and verify the issue.
No refund will be issued unless the watch is returned to SwissLux Timepieces LLC in the same condition in which it was sold, including all boxes, papers, links, tags, accessories, documents, and included items.
8. Authentication and Authenticity Guarantee
8.1 Authentication Process
Every watch sold by SwissLux Timepieces LLC is carefully authenticated and inspected before sale. Each timepiece is timed and tested on a timegrapher to confirm that it is functioning properly at the time of inspection.
Our authentication review may include examination of:
Brand, model, and reference number
Case serial numbers
Movement type and caliber
Dial, hands, markers, and lume
Case, bezel, crown, crystal, and caseback
Bracelet, clasp, end links, links, and strap
Box, papers, warranty card, accessories, and documentation when included
Overall condition and consistency with known manufacturer specifications
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may also rely on experienced dealers, watchmakers, third-party authenticators, manufacturer service centers, escrow providers, marketplace authentication programs, or other qualified professionals when appropriate.
8.2 Full Authenticity Guarantee
SwissLux Timepieces LLC guarantees that every watch it sells is authentic.
If any watch sold by SwissLux Timepieces LLC is ever proven not authentic, SwissLux Timepieces LLC will provide a full money-back guarantee, subject to claim verification, return of the watch, and inspection.
8.3 Authenticity Claim Requirements
To make an authenticity claim, the buyer must:
Contact SwissLux Timepieces LLC in writing at info@swissluxtp.com;
Provide the invoice, transaction record, photographs, and explanation of the concern;
Provide written documentation from a qualified watchmaker, manufacturer service center, recognized third-party authentication provider, marketplace authentication program, or other expert reasonably acceptable to SwissLux Timepieces LLC;
Return the watch to SwissLux Timepieces LLC for inspection if requested; and
Allow SwissLux Timepieces LLC a reasonable opportunity to investigate the claim.
8.4 Limits of Authenticity Guarantee
The authenticity guarantee does not cover:
Subjective opinions about condition, value, polishing, desirability, collectability, or market price
Normal wear and tear
Damage or modifications after sale
Unauthorized repair, servicing, polishing, refinishing, or part replacement
Aftermarket parts disclosed before purchase
Disputes based solely on manufacturer refusal to service a watch purchased through an independent reseller
Claims where the watch cannot be returned for inspection
Claims involving a watch that has been altered, opened, serviced, polished, refinished, or modified after purchase
9. Warranty and Aftercare
9.1 No Standard Mechanical Warranty
Unless expressly stated in writing on the invoice, listing, marketplace transaction, or transaction agreement, watches are sold without a standard mechanical warranty.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC guarantees authenticity, but does not guarantee future timekeeping, future water resistance, future service needs, or future mechanical performance unless separately stated in writing.
A timegrapher reading, inspection result, condition description, or statement that a watch is functioning at the time of inspection does not create a mechanical warranty.
9.2 Warranty Exclusions
Any warranty, if offered in writing for a specific transaction, does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Scratches, dents, fading, patina, stretch, cosmetic wear, or polishing marks
Damage from accidents, drops, impact, misuse, abuse, or neglect
Water damage, moisture intrusion, humidity exposure, or pressure-related failure
Damage from unauthorized repairs, servicing, opening, polishing, or modifications
Magnetization
Overwinding or improper operation
Batteries for quartz watches
Straps, bracelets, clasps, pins, screws, crystals, bezels, crowns, tubes, gaskets, or cosmetic components unless expressly included
Accuracy expectations beyond reasonable tolerances for the age, type, and condition of the watch
Vintage watches unless a specific warranty is provided in writing
Watches sold as-is, final sale, project watches, or watches disclosed as needing service
9.3 Lifetime Support
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may provide ongoing support after purchase, including answering questions, helping with future selling or upgrading, discussing service options, or providing general ownership guidance.
Lifetime support is a customer service commitment. It is not a lifetime mechanical warranty, lifetime service plan, buyback guarantee, trade-in guarantee, or promise of future market value.
9.4 Manufacturer Warranties
Because SwissLux Timepieces LLC is an independent reseller, we cannot guarantee that any manufacturer warranty will apply or be honored.
Warranty cards, papers, or service documents are provided as received and may or may not be valid for manufacturer warranty service.
10. Selling a Watch to SwissLux Timepieces LLC
10.1 Purchase Process
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may purchase watches directly from individuals, collectors, dealers, and other sellers.
To sell us a watch:
Contact us through the Site, phone, text, WhatsApp, or email.
Provide brand, model, reference, year, condition, photos, service history, box/papers status, and other relevant details.
Receive an initial offer or estimate.
If accepted, arrange shipment, delivery, or in-person inspection.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC inspects and verifies the watch.
Final payment is issued after the watch is authenticated, inspected, and accepted.
10.2 Offer Terms
Initial offers are estimates based on the information provided by the seller.
Final purchase price is subject to physical inspection, authentication, condition review, completeness, service history, market changes, and verification of ownership.
If the watch differs materially from the description, photographs, or representations provided by the seller, we may revise or withdraw the offer.
10.3 Shipping a Watch to Us
If we approve shipment of a watch to SwissLux Timepieces LLC for sale, trade, or consignment review, we may provide a prepaid, fully insured FedEx shipping label or another approved insured shipping method.
The seller must package the watch securely and follow all shipping instructions provided by SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
Do not ship any watch to SwissLux Timepieces LLC without written shipping instructions and an approved shipping method.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC is not responsible for loss, delay, damage, claim denial, or insurance issues caused by improper packaging, failure to follow shipping instructions, inaccurate information, undisclosed contents, or unauthorized shipping methods.
10.4 Seller Payment
After a watch is received, inspected, authenticated, and accepted, payment is typically sent the same day or within 24 hours of inspection.
Payment may be made by wire, Zelle, or another approved method.
Payment timing may vary depending on banking hours, weekends, holidays, transaction size, verification requirements, or additional review.
10.5 Seller Declines Revised Offer
If SwissLux Timepieces LLC revises or withdraws an offer after inspection and the seller declines the revised offer, SwissLux Timepieces LLC will return the watch using an insured shipping method, unless the watch is suspected of being stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, subject to a competing ownership claim, or otherwise restricted by law or carrier/insurance requirements.
Return timing and method will be confirmed in writing.
10.6 Seller Representations
By selling or attempting to sell a watch to SwissLux Timepieces LLC, you represent and warrant that:
You are the lawful owner of the watch or authorized to sell it;
The watch is not stolen, counterfeit, financed, pledged, encumbered, or subject to any lien or ownership claim;
All information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
All included box, papers, warranty cards, receipts, service records, and accessories are genuine to the best of your knowledge;
You will cooperate with reasonable verification requests;
You are legally permitted to sell the watch.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC reserves the right to refuse, return, hold, or report any watch suspected of being stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, or subject to legal dispute.
11. Trade-Ins
11.1 Trade-In Process
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may accept trade-ins toward watches in our inventory or toward a sourced watch.
Trade-in value may be based on:
Brand, model, and reference
Condition
Box, papers, and accessories
Service history
Market demand
Current wholesale and retail market conditions
Our ability to resell the watch
Completeness and originality
11.2 Trade-In Offers
Trade-in offers are estimates until the watch is physically inspected by SwissLux Timepieces LLC.
If the watch differs from the customer’s description, photographs, stated condition, service history, originality, or included accessories, we reserve the right to revise or withdraw the offer.
Trade-in offers are valid only for the period stated in writing because watch market values can change quickly.
11.3 Ownership Transfer
A trade-in watch becomes the property of SwissLux Timepieces LLC only after the final trade terms are accepted and the transaction is completed.
By trading in a watch, you represent that you are the legal owner or authorized seller and that the watch is not stolen, counterfeit, financed, encumbered, subject to any lien, or subject to any competing ownership claim.
12. Consignment
12.1 Case-by-Case Consignment
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may accept watches on consignment on a case-by-case basis.
Consignment availability depends on the specific watch, market demand, condition, documentation, expected value, brand, reference, and whether the watch is something SwissLux Timepieces LLC is willing to represent.
12.2 Written Consignment Terms Required
Commission, sale price, minimum acceptable price, timeline, possession, shipping, insurance, photography, listing strategy, return terms, payment timing, and other consignment terms must be agreed to in writing before SwissLux Timepieces LLC accepts a consignment.
No standard commission percentage or timeline is guaranteed unless stated in a written consignment agreement.
12.3 Consignment Sale Finality
Consignment watches may be final sale unless otherwise stated in writing or required by an applicable third-party marketplace.
13. Sourcing and Procurement
13.1 Sourcing Service
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may help customers source specific watches by brand, model, reference, condition, budget, year, configuration, or other preferences.
Sourcing may involve our network of dealers, collectors, private sellers, wholesalers, marketplace sellers, and industry contacts.
13.2 No Fee, No Deposit, No Commitment Until Approval
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SwissLux Timepieces LLC does not charge a sourcing fee, does not require a deposit to begin the search, and does not require a customer commitment until the customer approves a specific watch.
You only pay if we locate a watch you approve and agree to purchase.
13.3 Customer Review and Approval
When we locate a sourced watch, we will provide available details, which may include photographs, condition information, pricing, set contents, service history, seller information, estimated shipping timeline, and other relevant information.
The customer is responsible for reviewing all available information before approving a sourced purchase.
13.4 Final Sale on Approved Sourced Watches
Once a customer approves a sourced watch and SwissLux Timepieces LLC commits to acquiring it on the customer’s behalf, the transaction may be final sale unless otherwise stated in writing.
Because sourced watches are often acquired specifically for a customer, sourced watches may not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange except in cases of verified inauthenticity, material misrepresentation, marketplace-required resolution, or another written exception.
14. Communications
SwissLux Timepieces LLC communicates with clients by phone, text, WhatsApp, email, inquiry forms, scheduled video calls, and scheduled in-person meetings.
By providing your phone number or email address, you authorize SwissLux Timepieces LLC to contact you regarding inquiries, watches, purchases, sales, trades, consignments, sourcing requests, shipping, payment, customer service, fraud prevention, and related business matters.
If you sign up for inventory alerts or marketing communications, we may contact you about new inventory, sourcing opportunities, or related updates. You may opt out of marketing communications where applicable.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC aims to respond promptly, but does not guarantee immediate, after-hours, or 24/7 availability.
15. Fraud Prevention, Verification, and Refusal of Service
Luxury watch transactions involve high-value goods and elevated fraud risk. SwissLux Timepieces LLC reserves the right to request additional verification before accepting payment, shipping a watch, purchasing a watch, accepting a trade, accepting a consignment, or completing any transaction.
Verification may include:
Government-issued identification
Billing and shipping address confirmation

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel transactions, delay shipment, require a different payment method, or decline to proceed with any transaction that appears suspicious, incomplete, high-risk, fraudulent, unverifiable, or inconsistent with our policies.
16. Third-Party Marketplaces and Platforms
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may offer or process certain transactions through third-party platforms such as eBay, Chrono24, escrow providers, authentication providers, payment processors, shipping companies, and other services.
Transactions completed through third-party platforms may be subject to those platforms’ separate terms, policies, fees, payment rules, return rules, authentication rules, tax rules, shipping rules, and dispute-resolution procedures.
SwissLux Timepieces LLC is not responsible for third-party platform outages, delays, fees, policy changes, account restrictions, payment holds, chargebacks, return decisions, authentication delays, or other actions taken by third-party platforms.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the mandatory rules of a third-party platform used for a specific transaction, the platform’s rules may control that transaction to the extent required by the platform.
17. Intellectual Property
17.1 Site Content
All content on the Site, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, design elements, product descriptions, listing copy, layout, and other materials, is owned by SwissLux Timepieces LLC or used with permission.
This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
17.2 Permitted Use
You may view Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, republish, display, sell, or exploit our content without written permission.
17.3 Product Photography
SwissLux Timepieces LLC’s product photographs, videos, listing content, and written descriptions may not be used by other dealers, marketplaces, sellers, advertisers, or third parties without written permission.
Unauthorized use of our photographs or content may result in legal action.
18. User Conduct
By using the Site or doing business with SwissLux Timepieces LLC, you agree not to:
Provide false, incomplete, or misleading information;
Attempt fraudulent transactions;
Use stolen payment methods;
Submit watches you do not own or are not authorized to sell;
Interfere with the operation of the Site;
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Site;
Misuse our photographs, listings, or intellectual property;
Harass, threaten, or abuse our owner, staff, contractors, agents, or service providers;
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.
19. Limitation of Liability
19.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or in writing by SwissLux Timepieces LLC, all watches, products, services, information, and Site content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwissLux Timepieces LLC disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
19.2 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwissLux Timepieces LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of value, loss of data, business interruption, emotional distress, reputational harm, or market-value changes.
19.3 Maximum Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms, the Site, or any transaction shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific watch, product, or service giving rise to the claim.
19.4 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty limitations or damage exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

20.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
20.3 Venue
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, any dispute arising from these Terms, the Site, or any transaction with SwissLux Timepieces LLC shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
20.4 Time Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any claim arising from these Terms, the Site, or a transaction with SwissLux Timepieces LLC must be brought within one year after the claim arose.
21. Modifications to These Terms
SwissLux Timepieces LLC may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Site or provided upon request with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Site or continued business with us after updated Terms are posted or provided constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Material changes will not retroactively alter completed transactions unless required by law or agreed in writing.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or removed if modification is not possible.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, invoices, written transaction terms, written sourcing agreements, consignment agreements, trade-in agreements, third-party marketplace terms, and other written policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and SwissLux Timepieces LLC regarding your use of the Site and your transactions with us.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written invoice, purchase agreement, consignment agreement, sourcing agreement, marketplace transaction, or signed transaction document, the more specific written agreement will control for that transaction.
